Terry, Terry's Ville Conn't, rare 30-hour brass geared clock, strike train is actuated from a count wheel which uses pins for the hour positions, wooden case with double rounded corners, door with frosted glass lower panel having fancy acorn/pineapple detail, keyhole with bone diamond detail, wooden dial with original paper having nicely decorated spandrels, measures approximately 22.25" H x 14" W x 3.5" D, weight driven with original cast iron weights, lever escapement, no visible s#. Comes with crank key and lock key. NOTE: While this lot will be available for preview at the auction location and maybe picked up there on auction day, no shipping is available. Arranging shipping of this property is the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer may work with any independent shipper or Jones & Horan can recommend one. Mvt: NR, ticks for a while and then stops, clock does not strike properly, strike initializes when minute hand is at the 15 minute mark and will strike until weight touches down, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, spots to gears and fine scratches to plates; dial has tear in paper on edge at 7, scattered scratches and darkened areas; excellent hands; case shows little wear, few nicks and dings to upper portion of door; upper glass panel with three cracks at corners.
